CREDIT COURSE INFORMATION
The conference offers two ways to receive graduate credit and/or CEUs. Credit can be earned by attending a pre-conference class, as well as by attending 15 hours of sessions at the main conference (1 credit per course and 1 credit for the 3 days of the main conference). The pre-conference classes will be graded A-F and the 15 hours of conference time will be pass / no pass. Some classes will include an additional material fee to cover the required materials for the course. This fee will be charged to you at the time of registration.Responsibility for course instruction, content, and cancellation rests solely with ASSEC. The pre-conference registration fee is $175.00 ($225.00 after January 10th) per course and must be paid with registration. Credit course registration fees DO NOT include the cost of receiving credit from UAA. You may participate in credit courses without receiving credit. To receive credit, a separate registration and payment will need to be completed onsite at the conference. Each credit is $79.00.

RESTROOMS
Restrooms can be found in the following areas:
- Lower-Level Promenade -Take the stairs to the right of the front desk in the lobby or go down the stairs from the 2nd floor to the lower level of the 2nd floor. Registration desk is located next to the restrooms.
- First Floor near the Aspen room - (ADA stalls available here)
- 15th Floor near the Chartroom
RESERVED SEATING
Reserved tables/seating, marked with a "reserved" sign, are available in all rooms for those who prefer to be in close proximity to the screen/presenter.
SCENT AND FRAGRANCE AWARENESS
We kindly ask that all conference attendees, please consider others by refraining from using strong fragrances and perfumes.
MEAL FUNCTIONS AND FOOD SERVICE
Beverage breaks will be served for the pre-conference. A continental breakfast buffet will be served Monday and Wednesday of the full conference, along with a morning beverage service of coffee and hot tea. Attendees will be on their own for lunches. All attendees are invited to attend the Tuesday Awards Breakfast.
EXHIBITOR BINGO CARDS
Each attendee will have a bingo card that they will need to get stamped by each exhibitor. Upon completion of getting all signatures in all the squares, attendees will be eligible to be entered into a grand prize drawing. Bingo cards can be turned in to the registration desk before 9:00 am on Wednesday, Feb. 5th. The grand prize drawing will be held at the end of the Wednesday morning keynote session. Exhibitors will be in the Bristol Bay Ballroom and Promenade area.
DOOR PRIZES
Door prizes would not be possible without the donations of our generous sponsors and exhibitors. Each day of the main conference we will be giving out door prizes at the 8:15 am keynote sessions. Be sure to show up early so you can get your ticket and win something awesome!
RIBBONS FOR CHARITY
This has become an annual event, Ribbons for Charity! We will have ribbons available for purchase at the registration desk during the main conference for $1.00 each. Select one, two, or three, whichever ones fit your personality! Each dollar that you contribute will go towards supporting Special Olympics Alaska.
PRESENTATIONS/HANDOUTS
Presentations and handouts that we currently have collected are on this app on the Schedule tab. We will be adding materials as we receive them.
SOCIAL MEDIA
ASSEC encourages the use of social media and blogging at the conference as a way for attendees to summarize, highlight, and `promote presentations or share their thoughts on their experience in general, provided that presentation content and materials are not shared in full, and authors or presenters are referenced and cited where appropriate. Please keep in mind that presenters hold intellectual property rights and copyrights to their materials.
