About me
Karen Heath is a lifelong Alaskan with a love for everything employment related. She started her journey in the employment field at Fairbanks Resource Agency as one of the first job coaches in the state. In the 90's She obtained her MS in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin-Stout before returning home to Alaska to raise a family. In 2006 she began her journey at the UAA Center for Human Development where she has been for the last 18 years and is currently the co-director. She has been involved in several employment related initiatives over the years. Her current involvement is with the Disability Innovation Fund: Pathways to Partnership grant.
