About me
Kate is the Program Manager and AT Specialist for Assistive Technology of Alaska (ATLA), a comprehensive resource center that serves Alaskans of all ages. ATLA helps individuals make informed decisions about assistive technology (AT) solutions, which enhance, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities in all aspects of life, including work, school, home, or everyday life. Since 2017, Kate has worked with individuals across the state to provide assistive technology solutions to meet their unique needs. Additionally, Kate oversees the Alaska Relay Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program (TEDP), which offers free distance communication equipment and services to Alaskans who are Deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability.
